Rewilding the Garden: exploring an ecocentric horticulture

Sunday, September 23, 2:00 - 5:00 pm

Join us as we discuss ways that human animals can make efforts to merge with the ecology of place (the place where they dwell) while providing for some basic needs (such as food and medicine).

We will meander through the landscape, mostly within the malleable edges of the Feralwood project at Ardea, discussing a broad range of topics, including but not limited to: propagating and preparing native food plants, nutrition of wild and perennial foods, engaging biodiversity and forest succession, observing and interacting with land, potential wild staple foods, and much more.

The class will be 3 hours in length, broken roughly in half by a short break. It will be outdoors. In preparation, consider what you need to be comfortable outside, potentially meandering through untamed terrain.

Individual class fee - $40
Late Summer/Fall Four Class Bundle - $120
Early Bird Discount for Four Class Bundle (ends July 31) - $80
